The Little Prince's "Baobab Tree"
Hanbat Arboretum Tropical Garden
"Baobab Tree" is the common name of a genus(Adasonia) containing eight
spices of trees,native to Madacascar(having six spices), mainland Africa and Australia
(on spices in each). This tree is the National Tree of Madacascar.
Other common name is include boab, boaboa, bottle tree, the tree of life, up-side down tree,
and monkey bread tree. The species reach heights of 5 to 30meters (16 to 98 fit) and trunk
diame of 7 to 11 meter (23 to 36 fit) its truck can hold up to 120,000 litres of water.
For most of the year, the tree is leafless,
and looks very much like it has its roots sticking up in the air.
The Baobab Tree long-ived, but just how long is disputed.
The owners of the Sunland Farm in in Limporo, South Africa have built a pub called
"The Big Baobag Pub" inside the hollow trunk of the 22meters(72fits) high tree.
The tree is 47 meters (155ft) in circumference,
and is said to have been carbon dated at over 6,000years old.

The Baobab Tree is known as the tree of life, with good reason.
It can provide shelter, clothing, food, and water for the making cloth and rope.

Trees are even used as bams, wine and beer shop and more.
